Psychological Testing
What it is:
Psychological and psycho-educational testing involves a comprehensive assessment of emotional, personality, and brain function using standardized tests and clinical procedures. The evaluations may involve a variety of tasks depending on your referral or reasoning behind the evaluation.
What to expect:
Comprehensive psychological assessment typically involves one hour of clinical interview and about four to eight hours of testing, depending on the reason for referral. The evaluation is often scheduled and completed over one to three days, if possible. You will certainly be given breaks, as needed, throughout the evaluations.
During the evaluations; you will be performing various types of tests; most will be done at a table and administered via pencil/paper or iPad.
What is offered:
From ADHD testing for children and adults to pre-martial screening for couples, we can offer a variety of testing options based on your needs. Testing can be a stand-alone support or can be coupled with counseling or coaching to gain a greater understanding of who you are.
