Leah Smith, LMSW

Therapist

Leah is a compassionate and client-centered therapist who values creating a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where individuals of all ages can explore their thoughts and emotions. She believes that healing begins with connection, both to oneself and to others and encourages clients to trust their inner voice throughout the therapeutic journey.

Leah specializes in supporting individuals as they process trauma, including childhood abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, and grief. She also works with those navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, family dynamics, and major life transitions. Her approach is integrative and tailored to each client, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Art and Play Therapy, Strengths-Based Practices, Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy.

Leah works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her clients often describe her as warm, supportive, and thoughtfully challenging someone who helps identify stuck patterns, explore new perspectives, and reconnect with inner strengths.

In addition to her clinical work, Leah also serves as an elementary school social worker. In this role, she supports neurodiverse students and their families by addressing behavioral challenges, fostering self-esteem, and teaching self-regulation strategies that promote academic and emotional success.

Leah partners with clients in a holistic way, working to integrate mind, body, spirit, and environment throughout the healing process. She is honored to walk alongside you on your path to growth and self-discovery.
